Possible limited spaces at talks, workshops and classes
While we will try to ensure as many places are available at all free talks, workshops and classes, we may have to limit access due to health and safety regulations, limited equipment, or other reasons.
Guests who have pre-registered for this event will get priority entry to the talks, workshops & classes in cases where a talk, workshop or class is oversubscribed. Please note pre-registration does not guarantee access.
How access to talks, workshops and classes is managed: Ten minutes before a talk, workshop or class those wishing to attend will be invited to queue at a designated place. If the number of guests wishing to attend exceeds capacity, pre-registered guests will be invited to attend first based on their place in the queue. If the number of pre-registered guests exceeds capacity, then spaces will be allocated on the basis of position in the queue. Guests who have not pre-registered will form a second queue, and will only be allowed to access based on the number of places not used by pre-registered guests.
Possible limited access to the venue
We may also have to limit access to the venue if we feel it becomes too crowded and put in place 'a one out, one in' policy for the safety of all concerned.
Guests who have pre-registered for this event will get priority entry to the venue in case of a 'one out, one in' policy being used. Please note pre-registration does not guarantee access.
How access to the venue is managed in cases where we feel overcrowding may occur: A 'one out, one in' policy is in effect, pre-registered guests will form one queue, and guests from this queue will be allowed access to the venue only when it is safe to do so. Guests who have not pre-registered will form a second queue, and will only be allowed to access the venue when they are no pre-register guests waiting and when it is safe to do so.
