In today's world, it seems at times our greatest nemesis is our emotions. But how and why is that? And can we live fully like this? I was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder in 2013 after my second suicide attempt, I was introduced then to a therapy called DBT which was Mindfulness based. My talk is a story, a story of recovery from my “nemesis” and how acceptance and awareness were powerful within it. There will also be a number of easy and practical mindfulness exercises you can take away from the day to integrate into your own life.
