Orla is a Leadership and Executive Coach specialising in the support and promotion of professional women in the workplace. With over 20 years experience, she has had a career of two halves. Firstly within large organisations in Talent Management and secondly as a Coach. Orla has extensive experience in working with motivated women who are focused on managing their careers in a sustainable way, enhancing their leadership skills and developing an authentic leadership style through her coaching.
With a Masters in Business & Personal Coaching from UCC, she has focused her coaching career on women in business and now works with professional women who are interested in managing their careers in a balanced way that is compatible with their career goals and family lives. Orla works with women who are interested in returning to work after career breaks or in supporting them to relaunch a new career.
By using a variety of techniques in her coaching practice ranging from Cognitive Behavioural Coaching, Person Centred Coaching to the use of Mindfulness-based techniques, she offers individual and group programmes which are designed to support women throughout their maternity leave and to ensure a successful transition back into the workplace.
Orla is passionate about promoting positive gender diversity in the workplace and has spent many years researching and developing coaching programmes to support both women and organisations in keeping women at work.
Orla is a member of British Psychological Society (BPS), International Coaching Federation (ICF), European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). Qualified in Psychometric Testing and Personality Profile Analysis, Aptitude Testing.
