My vinyasa flow classes are suitable for absolutely everybody, both women and men, beginners through to advanced.
In a vinyasa flow class, we will bind the movements of the body with breath, cleansing the body of any stagnant energy. We visit the strengthening and grounding postures of the Ashtanga primary series knitting them together in a Vinyasa style flow, enjoying the fluidity and expression through movement vinyasa has to offer.
Ashtanga vinyasa classes can sometimes be demanding, however, I will offer variations to suit everybody. I believe yoga is an excellent tool to tap into how our body is feeling on a deeper level, so this class is perfect if you want to work up the heat in the body and challenge yourself, or equally, if you fancy taking it easy and enjoying the class at a more mind-full pace.
I believe movement truly is a form of medicine, for both mind and body, and the yoga practice can enrich your life greatly, both on and off the mat. As always we will seal our practice with the most important posture of all...Savasana. We will get cosy, rest, rejuvenate and reap the benefits of our physical practice.
